Welcome to Lipedema Hoje (Lipedema Today).
We were born from a real need: to fill the information gap regarding a chronic condition that affects millions of women in Brazil and worldwide – Lipedema. Often confused with obesity or cellulite, Lipedema is a disease that, besides physical pain, carries an emotional burden and the stigma of being "just fat."
Our foundation is based on empathy. We understand the frustration of not being heard, of not having an accurate diagnosis, and of feeling that your body does not respond to traditional diet and exercise efforts.
